Seems that Chef Julia Childs wasn't just poaching fish all those years on the TV. Recent release of new documents confirm an early career in the OSS, (Office of Strategic Services), a department of the government that later evolved into the CIA. The initial article at CNN did not mention that this information was available earlier, so after reading a couple of comments about her OSS career being before her TV Chef fame, I checked out other sources on the web to find out that she was hired on as a research assistant for the OSS and played a part in top secret communications during WWII. Neat.
Does this mean that Rachel Ray is CIA?
